Fascinating race, the Weeping Angels. The only psychopaths in the universe to kill you nicely. No mess, no fuss, they just zap you into the past and let you live to death. The rest of your life used up and blown away in the blink of an eye. You die in the past, and in the present they consume the energy of all the days you might have had, all your stolen moments. They’re creatures of the abstract. They live off potential energy.

Compact, well built, and inspired by Appleseed. What’s not to love about this brilliant little hardsuit by Tekka Croe?

Johnathan “Legomocs” has replicated the superconducting, space warping portal from the Stargate science fiction series quite well at a surprisingly small yet effective scale.
Personally, I’ve never watched any of the television series that may have inspired him under the likely probability that they’d be sub-par to the 1994 film, which was pretty good in its day.

I love this. Not only because Warhammer is awesome, but also because Peter is awesome.
Let the pics speak for themselves!

Check out Micah G’s brilliant Dwarf cavalry!
In his (and a friend’s) words: “‘If dwarves are too short to ride horses, then what do they do for cavalry?’ well clearly they ride giant magical mountain goat propelled chariots of course!”
Hahaha, awesome. I approve… but if you’re not convinced, just check out the close up of the goat and chariot.

Perhaps Peter Anderson (ShadowViking on Flickr) gets featured here too often, but this awesome viking-themed vignette, featuring a shadowy Champion of Loki wreathed in infernal flames was too impressive not to blog. Amazing work with the fire, and a fun backstory melding the mythology of the Vikings with LEGO’s Orc warriors.

This Classic Space fighter by Flickr user Derek (BrickArt!san) has been on the Interwebs for two months now, but it’s so rad I couldn’t resist the urge to blog it.
